Asia Clean Capital and Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric to Cooperate on 200MW Solar Pipeline
26 September 2016Beijing, PRC— September 26, 2016—Asia Clean Capital (“ACC”) today announced a cooperation agreement with Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (“TMEIC”) to co-develop an identified solar pipeline of 200 megawatts in Mainland China. Under the terms of the Agreement ACC will provide construction and financing for the solar systems and TMEIC will provide technical support, equipment supply, and other services for associated rooftops.
ACC and TMEIC have initiated the cooperation on a series of solar projects invested by ACC, including a 20MW shipyard solar station in East China, in which TMEIC provides the inverters and ACC invests in, constructs, and owns the project.
According to Thomas Lapham, CEO of ACC, “TMEIC is a global leader in solar inverter manufacturing, having developed the world’s first super-large inverter of one-megawatt in 1983. Cooperation between ACC and TMEIC will allow both companies to further accelerate their development of the red-hot Chinese solar market.”
