Langfang, PRC, October 1^st, 2015—Swire Pacific Cold Storage’s Langfang logistics center has achieved LEED Gold accreditation, according to company sources. The site’s LEED scorecard benefited from “optimized energy performance” in addition to other sustainability related efforts. Asia Clean capital provided a 300KW ground-source heat-pump system at the site to help reduce heating and cooling energy by an estimated 46% and C0₂ consumption by 49%, compared to traditional HVAC systems.

Langfang marks the second project undertaken between Asia Clean Capital and Swire Group, the first being the Swire Coca-Cola bottling facility in Luohe, Henan province. The Luohe project achieved LEED Platinum accreditation, the first Coca-Cola plant worldwide to achieve this milestone.

According to a spokesman, “ACC is delighted that our efforts have helped the Swire Group achieve LEED accreditation on multiple projects. We look forward to continuing and expanding this mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.”
